The first is called Waterfall and the second is entitled The Whole World is a Stage. These posters are just part of a month-long launch in Brghton which Wet Paint Productions have been employed to help deliver a ‘street up’ approach to increase awareness of the rum brand.

For all of you in Brighton tonight, the first lady of Brighton graffiti Mishfit, will be customising free Brugal tee-shirts. So, come and see us at the Fish Bowl at 8pm, Fiddlers Elbow at 9pm or the Black Lion from 10pm. Bring friends. Drink rum. Have fun. It’s nearly Friday!

Festival Fringe Begins

Sunday, May 2nd, 2010

Yesterday was the first day of Brighton Festival Fringe which has taken over the city and will last throughout May. The first day of the month also saw a few TB&TC artists doing their own things. This included Sinna painting live at Madame Geisha, Hutch painting the outside of Residence – Brighton’s first pop-up restaurant in Whitecross Street – as well as Funky Red Dog and T.WAT’s open house Vehicle Testing Station, 20 Cambridge Grove (venue 13 on the Hove Arts Trail). More from all three of them next weekend.

Bringing Buenos Aires to Brighton!

Saturday, May 1st, 2010

Artwork has already begun to flood in from many of the TB&TC artists and all of it looks great and will be available to buy from our pop-up gallery at Myhotel over the weekend of 8/9 May. We are really excited to announce though that will also have some Latin flavour for you thanks to our very good friends at Graffiti Mundo, who based in the beautiful city of B.A work directly with some of the most exciting artists this city has to offer. Over Christmas we were lucky enough to go on their unique graffiti tour which the New York Times recently suggested as one of the top 10 things to do while there. Pictured is artwork from Fede of Run Don’t Walk, the huge talents that are Tec, Gualicho and the amazing Pum Pum – the first lady of B.A street art. This is a unique opportunity to get some great artwork at great prices from artists who are just starting to forge their way on the global scene!

TB&TC Artist on Wooster Collective

Monday, April 26th, 2010

Brighton-based TB&TC artist Martin Middleton has run the Artscape project in the city which works and engages with different community groups to transform urban spaces. Projects range from large murals to 3-D sculpture and his transformed telephone junction boxes have become synonymous with Brighton. Wooster Collective posted some of his work on their blog today but failed to give him a name check so we thought we’d do it for them. See the Wooster Collective piece HERE.
