Last night saw one of Brighton’s finest Mishfit pimping T-shirts as part of the in-bar Brugal Brighton launch in pubs across the city centre. The rules are simple: buy a Brugal rum and you get a free tee for the artists to customize. The punters were definitely loving their shirts just as much as the rum. Tonight is the turn of Foundry and Snub 23 (recently back from his Secret Wars win at Upfest – so he has his eye in!). We’ll be at the Mash Tun from 8.30pm, the White Rabbit from 9.30pm and Riki Tik from 11.30pm. If you’re in Brighton and want some exclusive T-Shirts then make sure you’re at one of these venue tonight!

Snub 23, Foundry, Avian Security, Dank and Vodker’s TB&TC (Komedia) wall has found its way onto the front cover of Access International – the premier publication read by professionals around the world who rent, use and manufacturer cherry pickers. VNA it aint but respect to the artists for their work which obviously caught the eye of the editor and the KHL Group who publish it.

Shuby and Funky Red Dog had the perfect day yesterday to pimp Brighton’s Shelter shop on Western Road. The window display is there to help promote the limited edition Tee-shirts designed by SNUB 23, Hutch and Funky Red Dog for this year’s TB&TC. Shelter have the first advanced consignment of just 30 so anyone wanting to get their hands on them will have to be quick because they won’t be there for long and all sales go directly to the Shelter shop. We will be selling the remaining 120 Tee’s at Myhotel over the weekend of 8/9 May. The combination of dancing girls and posing dogs definitely caused a stir and turned heads. We’d like to thank Allen Sharratt, the store manager for all of his help and supplying laughs on the day.

Big Lemon are a local independent bus company who run their vehicles on 100% locally sourced cooking oil to minimise their impact on the environment, and at £2 for a day ticket, the impact on people’s pockets too. Being bright yellow they are never hard to miss but for two weeks of the year when TB&TC get our hands on them they are even more unforgettable. This year it was the turn of SNUB 23 and Funky Red Dog to unroll the paste ups and mix in the PVA to help spread the word that your friendly neighbourhood paint jam is back for another year. So, leaving the yard Monday and patrolling the streets for the next two weeks, we bring you these two great creations from two great artists. Huge thanks to FRD and SNUB for their time and creativity and if you live in the Brighton area don’t forget to flag them down.

Tom’s Bar is in the heart of Brighton – 13 Prince Albert Street to be exact – and TB+TC will be holding an aftershow party there. Self-styled as a graffiti bar, Tom’s was an obvious choice to carry on into the morning with music, beer and live painting out back. Artists like Sweet Toof, Pinky, Snub and Shuby have all adorned the walls with their work in the past and now it’s time for the TB+TC takeover! They say that all good things come in small packages and Tom’s is no exception. If you want to get in on the action you will have to get down early. See you there!
